For Elementry Education
With the formulation of National Policy on Education, India initiated a wide range of programmes for achieving the goal of UEE through several schematic and Programme interventions
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is implemented as India's main Programme for universalizing elementary education. Its overall goals include universal access and retention, bridging of gender and social category gaps in education and enhancement of learning levels of children.

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is a programme for Universal Elementary Education. This programme is also an attempt to provide an opportunity for improving human capabilities to all children.
मध्याह्न भोजन योजना
With a view to enhancing enrolment, retention and attendance and simultaneously improving nutritional levels among children, the National Programme of Nutritional Support to Primary Education (NP-NSPE) was launched as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme on 15th August 1995.
मुख्यमंत्री मध्याह्न भोजन योजना
This programme has been started by Bihar Govt to increase the attendence as well as enrollment in the school with an additional view of healthy neutrition to all child.
बिहार बाल भवन " किलकारी "
This programme is has been by started by Bihar Govt with a view to enhance the creativity of child in all fields who are not capable economically.
For Secondary Education
Secondary Education is the most significant stage in the educational hierarchy as it prepares the students for higher education and the world of work. The policy at present is to make secondary education of good quality available, accessible and affordable to all young persons in the age group of 14-18. At present, the following schemes targeted at secondary stage (i.e. class IX to XII) are being implemented in the form of Centrally Sponsored Schemes:

For Higher Education
Higher Education is the shared responsibility of both the Centre and the States. The coordination and determination of standards in institutions is the constitutional obligation of the Central Government. The Central Government provides grants to UGC and establishes Central Universities in the country. Meritorious students, from families with or without necessary means, need an incentive or encouragement to keep on working hard in their studies and go to the next level of education in their academic career. This is where the scholarships and education loans play a crucial role.
स्टूडेंट क्रेडिट कार्ड योजना
Government of Bihar, on 2nd October 2016 Launched, Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme to provide financial assistance to those students who are willing to pursue higher education as loan of upto Rs. 4 Lakh to 10+2 passout students at 0% interest rate.
राष्ट्रीय छात्रवृत्ति

एससी / एसटी छात्रों के लिए पोस्ट मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति
Through this scheme 10th passed out students are being provided scholarships to continue their graduation.
महिला वैज्ञानिकों और प्रौद्योगिकीविदों के लिए डीएसटी की छात्रवृत्ति योजना
Throgh this program students get scholarship to continue their study in the field of science & technology.
For Adult Education
साक्षर भारत मिसन
Saakshar Bharat Programme goes beyond ‘3’ R’s (i.e. Reading, Writing & Arithmetic) ; for it also seeks to create awareness of social disparities and a person’s deprivation on the means for its amelioration and general well being. This programme was formulated in 2009 with the objective of achieving 80% literacy level at national level, by focusing on adult women literacy seeking – to reduce the gap between male and female literacy to not more than 10 percentage points .it has four broader objectives, namely imparting functional literacy and numeracy to non-literates; acquiring equivalency to formal educational system; imparting relevant skill development programme; and promote a leaning society by providing opportunities for continuing education. The principal target of the programme is to impart functional literacy to 70 million non-literate adults in the age group of 15 years and beyond. This Includes coverage of 14 million Scheduled Castes(SCs), 8 million Scheduled Tribes(STs), 12 million minorities & 36 million others. The overall coverage of women is aimed at 60 million. 410 districts belonging to 27 States/UTs of the country were identified to be covered under Saakshar Bharat.
